Council Advisory Committees
The District of Lake Country is seeking volunteers to serve on its various Council Advisory Committees. These committees play an important role in advising Council on a variety of issues and initiatives.
Each committee has a specific mandate and is responsible for providing advice and recommendations to Council on a variety of issues.
To be eligible to serve on a Council Advisory Committee, you must be a resident of Lake Country. You do not need to have any specific experience or expertise, but you should be interested in the work of the committee and be willing to commit to attending regular meetings.
Volunteering for a Council Advisory Committee is a great way to get involved in your community and make a difference. It is also a great way to learn more about the local government process and to meet other people who are passionate about making Lake Country a better place to live.

- Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee: Advocate for enhanced recreation facilities, programs, and green spaces throughout Lake Country.

The PAAC is responsible for developing and implementing a public art strategy for Lake Country, as well as selecting and overseeing the installation of public art projects.
